MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

A CAPITAL CORRIDOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT  CORPORATION PROGRAM

 

The Capital Corridor CDC sponsors events in the name of Reverend Woodson to provide funds for scholarships that assist at risk students with continuing their educations. It is our honor to offer these scholarships in the name of The Reverend Samuel Howard Woodson Jr., who spent a lifetime fighting for the rights of all people.

The S. Howard Woodson Foundation will be awarding four $1,000 scholarships to students from the metropolitan Trenton area. All interested applicants can down load the application.

The final decision will be competitively based upon the applicant’s need, academic performance, extra-curricular activities, recommendations and narrative. All applications must be received no later than Friday, May 16, 2008. The announcement of the 2008 recipients will be made on Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Capital Corridor Community development Corporation’s Annual Achievement Banquet. Recipients and their family are asked to attend.
